Earth 2025 War tactics strats summary

General advices (for everybody):
================================

 

1) SDI - SDI is essential!! And remember the enemy chooses the country with the LOWEST SDI as missile target and you don't want that this will be your country, do you??

2) SPY TECH - almost everyone neglects it. But 150% spies is awesome...it affects your SPAL!!! and thus also multiplies your spy-support form allies!!

3) CONDITIONING is a "must" for all bigger countries. You will have to attack people your size and bigger and you want to do more than 3 attacks a day!!

4) Don't do useless attacks. Visit the GT site and ask for targets. Nothing is more ridiculous than doing GS alone or ABing a country with no buildings left!

5) SPAL is extremly necessary in a war, but you don't need a 50:1 SPAL all the time. So try to have a high SPAL when war starts but you won't need it in the first 2 weeks

6) Try to get your income mainly from tech and not buildings. Buildings can be razed, but tech is hard to destroy!

Good war strategies (for everybody):

Tyrannies:
Tyrannies are killing machines. Don't underestimate the "1 turn attack", you CAN'T do more attacks a day than a demo (due to readiness) but you will have more than 30 turns left (compared to 3-4 for demos) for missiles, spyops and rebuilding your county!!! Futhermore the 10% gains should are nice.


Essentials:
- HIGH warfare tech!!
- HIGH SPAL (you need to burn your turns!!)
Best used for:
- Mid ranked countries who score the kills
- Spy countries - you can do ops AND attack!
Strats:
- Tyr/Farmer: Good choice for most players!!!
- Tyr/Indy: BEST! You can control and switch production to spies quickly if necessary
- Tyr/Techer: Good netgaining option, but he will deal out less damage (but have a higher income)
Dictatorships:
Dictatorships will mostly do the first attacks due to their strong military. They also make good for spy countries, but only if you really plan to do ONLY spyops! Don't forget conditioning for dicts - you will do the first attacks and you will have to get thru with only 3% readiness losses!!!
Essentials:
- HIGH conditioning tech!!!!!!
- HIGH weapons tech
- Good medical tech
Strats:
- Dict/Casher: A little more flexible than the farmer, but a little lower income!!
- Dict/Farmer: Good choice!!! Best in spy specialised countries.
- Dict/Indy: Sam as tyranny, but lower in networth if it's a netgaining reset.

Attacking (for everbody):
=========================


- NEVER do anything else besides attacking if your readiness is 99% or higher!
- NEVER do attacks without having an approved target. If no head/leader is online, just store your turns!!
- NEVER do unauthored spy-ops. It might make it harder for later, coordinate ops to make sure it's successful.
- Reduce your force sent to attack when attacking continously (Thumb rule: reduce by 90% of defenders losses)!
- If you fail an attack, increase your offense a little (maybe 15%). Tf you fail again, then MAKE SURE YOU REPORT TO A LEADER. The enemy is porpably online!!!
- Always keep your readiness at 99% or 100% at the end of your turns, unless you are told otherwise. You'll need the turns to get it back up anyway!!!

Defending (for everybody):
==========================
- NEVER SURRENDER! - Remember, restarting a country takes 3 days just to get out of protection and a lot more days until you can do damage so a country can NEVER be hurt so bad that it should be abandoned!!
- NEVER logout with no cash left!!!
You will be an idle target for GSs, BRs, SpyOps etc, and even if your country is not killed you will have to sell on private market just to have enough cash to sell off your tech!!! Futhermore having some cash (e.g. 500m$ on hand will make you incredibly hard to kill!!)
- If you lost your buildings, check your BPT. If it's very low, then rebuilding makes no sense. Just go on attacking and message any heads/leaders he will give you a LG target of the enemy (this is the quickest way to rebuild). Do a PS ONLY after doing your main attacks with SS.
- If you lost pop, use your turns no matter how much cash you lose but make sure you have enough to use a turn. Sell on private market if necessary. If you take no turns, your pop won't come back and you will be an easy target. Buy some troops and take some turns. But AGAIN, don't spend all your cash (unless you're still being attacked and close to dying).
- If you are online during the attacks, be patience because you should be feeling lucky as this is your best chance of survival. Don't try to stop the break-through completely, but spend your money in small portions.. Let them get thru 5 times, buy some troops. They will fail some attacks, get thru a couple of times again. Then you buy troops again and so on. This strat makes a kill almost impossible as they will fail loads of attacks!
- If you can't get your income in the green again, sell off tech! If this keeps you going 1-2 days then your expenses will go down anyway as you will loose lots of military and your income will soon go to positive!
- If you are really dying, DROP YOUR LANDS to around 3000!!! This will raise your tech levels and SPAL incredibly. Also, since you have been attacked so often, probably you are down to being attacked for 10A each and thus you can make your enemies waste up to 600 turns and have a higher SPAL and tech levels.

Advices for War Coordinators:
=============================
1) DON'T LET THE PEOPLE WAIT TO LONG! It's better to have not the perfect warchat, then to have everybody wait 2 hours until our biggest guy shows up. This will only reduce participation and fun!!!
2) Make a list of all the countries that can attack (gov, weap, cond, military). Sort them by offensive power!
3) Choose target(s) carefully. Remember you will need roughly 200-300 attacks to kill a country. Every country can do about 12-15 attacks. So you need about 20 people to score a kill. If you have more you might go for two kills, but you need to decide this early and don't burn all the turns of the big guys!!
4) Don't let your big countries burn all turn if you got lots of smaller countries in the warchat. If you save some of the big guys turns, you can react quickly if some of the targets come online and buy military.
5) Once the enemies defense is down (e.g. 200k jets break) let people attack simultanously, this will speed up the kill!
6) Make a list of readiness targets (missiles and spies)!! So that you can quickly give the players targets!
7) Using missiles:
EMDs: Make almost no sense. They can only be used to lower someone's SDI!
CHEMs: Use chems in the FINAL stage of a kill. 1 CHEM does the same than 5 GS or 2.5 BR. Don't waste them in the beginning when you can do GS or BR and kill hugh amount of civilians!
NUKEs: Never NUKE a kill target!! Nukes can hurt a country, but their SPAL and tech level will rise significantly, and they don't help in a killing effort!!!
8) Using spy-ops:
- Demoralize: I think one should only do demoralize ops if they are needed to break his defense. If you have a country
